Welcome to Cambrian Park
Cambrian Park (CP) is a premier Thoroughbred breeding and racing facility in Ontario. The facility borders on the sublime Canadian Shield, which provides an stunning backdrop to this beautiful and modern facility. When our horses aren't in training, they enjoy leisure time on pastures of bromegrass or a rejuvenating hack through the neighboring forests of birch and pine trees.
• History Cambrian Park first opened as a mini-barn in May, 2009. In September of 2008, CP was upgraded to private barn status. Ophelia owns and operates the facility. She scored 90 per cent on the Riata Breeding Exam and CP was upgraded to breeding barn status in January of 2010.
Ophelia has also been instrumental in establishing and promoting steeplechasing in Riata. She hosted one of the first chases in 2007, and currently operates the Riata Steeplchasing Club with Elaine of Phoenician Stud.

• Facility
Cambrian Park is a modern 70-horse facility. Our indoor riding arena is fully heated and cooled to compensate for the changing temperature of our region. Our facility also offers a number of luxuries to competitors attending our events, including a racing circle, several competition rings, warm-up paddocks, show office and grand stand.
